Procurement Officer | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Procurement Officer to join a well-established organisation based in Sydney.
This is a varied role, with approximately 80% focused on procurement and procure-to-pay activities, alongside 20% accounting responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both operational finance and month-end accounting.
 
Key responsibilities include:
Processing purchase orders in a high-volume environment
Vendor onboarding, maintenance and master data management
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and Accounts Payable
Supporting month-end processes, including journals, accruals and prepayments
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting with continuous process improvements across the finance function
