Role Purpose

Leads the development and execution of Global Supply Management (GSM) Strategic Sourcing strategies, policies, tactics and objectives for assigned complex global commodities, aligning with business units, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and assist with Strategic Sourcing plans and objectives based on forecasts of future demand, economic and currency trends.
• Prepare and solicit competitive bids, quotations, proposals with specifications, terms and conditions.
• Develop and review specifications, statements of work, performance terms, and accept/reject criteria.
• Conduct negotiations with major suppliers for maximum value.
• Develop and communicate global supply intelligence for assigned commodities.
• Own the Supplier Relationship Management process for the assigned commodities.
