Job Purpose

BorgWarner SLP is currently seeking a Product Engineer to join our PowerDrive System business unit team. The Product Engineer will be responsible for sustaining and improving product yield, quality, reliability, safety, legal and environmental compliance, and transfer new products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead production by resolving material problems and software related issues.
• Improve product yield and quality.
• Support new product/variation/ECO activities.
• Initiate and drive cost reduction issues.
• Participate in employee involvement team.
• Improve customer satisfaction and reduce linepull/warranty to meet target.
• Lead special projects.
• Modify & debug test software (if applicable).
• Ensure all prints meet the revision.
• Lead in change management process.
