Product Development Engineer Role Responsibilities

Design and engineer elegant and practical mechanical and electromechanical solutions with manufacturability and end‑user satisfaction in mind. Plan, execute, and document the design, build, testing, and prototyping of innovative new products. Use systematic research methods to draw out customer and end‑user requirements. Collaborate with clients, vendors, and peers to identify and execute sound design solutions. Collaborate with the Inertia team and vendors to ensure a seamless customer experience and deliver outstanding results. Balance project scope, budget, timing, and deliverables as part of the team. Manage and coordinate manufacturing partners and in‑house assembly teams. Develop and encourage strong peer relationships across various disciplines, functions, teams, and geographies.
