Position Overview
Lead, coordinate, and direct through Supervisors, the production functions of the plant by setting expectations and monitoring delegated activities.Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring that all safety and environmental procedures and regulations are followed.Develop production plans that minimize the cost of raw materials consumed while maximizing productivity. Oversee the production planning and scheduling functions.Initiate improvements to remove bottlenecks, improve quality, and lower costs including Lean, employee training, capital improvements, maintenance (TPM, PM improvements), validating costing data, downtime analysis, production line modifications (3P’s) and the addition of new capabilitiesBe a team leader who develops and engages the production and supervisory team through regular, clear and consistent performance management and individual development planning.
