Job Summary:
Plans, schedules and coordinates the movement of resources through the production cycle.
Principal Responsibilities:
Transforms specific customer requirements into engineering and production plans, with input requirements to ensure success.Assists in the preparation and planning of production schedules to expedite and coordinate the movement of parts/products through various operations.Develops and maintains inventory strategies to minimize inventory while maximizing flexibility for lead-time and customer demand.Responsible for coordinating and managing quarterly inventory and returns to suppliers, as well as setting up and coordinating new product releases.Optimizes production schedule through effective planning and level loading based on workload and manpower availability.Coordinates time-lines along with resource requirements for all projects and first time production runs.
