Position Overview
Direct production and manufacturing in accordance with established process and product specifications, quality standards, delivery schedules, and standard costs so as to continually improve the efficiency, economy, and safety of the operations. Provide a safe work environment for employees that meet or exceeds regulatory compliance levels.
Work with suppliers and recommend to the Plant Manager the types of equipment supplies needed to maintain an efficient and up-to-date manufacturing facility.
Coordinate engineering on new projects as well as existing equipment upgrades. Prepare back-up data for AFE’s.
Prepare monthly safety meeting discussion points and training materials.
Prepare budget information and review for areas of responsibility for compliance with the budget.
Provide guidance with supervisors to maintain satisfactory employee and labor relations, safety, and teamwork within a Total Quality framework.<...
