Manufacture products by supervising staff; organizing, monitoring workflow, and assuring standards are followed.
Complete the production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; and reporting results in shift production summaries.
Define training needs for the manufacturing personnel of the assigned production line to achieve and maintain necessary competence, knowledge, discipline, and skill levels.
Ensure that procedures and instructions are followed by manufacturing personnel, including safety and environmental guidelines as well as quality documents and control.
Support continuity through working shifts.
