Professor, Data Engineering – Data Analysis Methods

The University of Eastern Finland invites applications for the post of Professor of Data Engineering, especially data analysis methods, at the School of Computing of the Faculty of Science, Forestry and Technology on the Kuopio or Joensuu campus.

Role and salary

The position involves conducting, developing and leading research in data engineering and related education, securing external research funding, promoting international research cooperation, and engaging in societal expert duties. Responsibilities also include doctoral education in the discipline.

Salary is based on the Finnish university pay scale, level 8–11 (EUR 5 471,95–8 063,25 per month). An additional personal salary element up to 50 % of the job‑related salary may be added.
