Summary This position falls under the Anesthesiology Service at the San Francisco VA Health Care System. The role of the incumbent is to assist the Anesthesiology department to fulfill the missions of this complex service, with the principle objective of optimizing utilization of resources dedicated to its training and research programs. Responsibilities Major duties: Functions as the primary coordinator of all health professions trainee programs under Anesthesiology Service at SFVAHCS, collaborating with the affiliates, UCSF, USHUS and SMU as well as other independent schools of various health professions. Works in conjunction with Anesthesiology Service administrative staff on the processing and on-boarding of all trainees, medical students, residents, and fellows Manages procurement and contracting for Anesthesiology Service, including preparing procurement requests evaluating proposals for work, serving as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for procurements, maintaining pro...
