Responsibilities
Reporting to the Medical Lab Technology (MLT) Quality and Operations Manager, you will:
Provide lab, program and administrative support for the MLT program.Maintain the lab by managing the lab environment, equipment maintenance and media/reagent/specimen preparation.Order requested lab supplies, receive and rotate stock, and update lab inventory system.Provide administrative preparation for the lab.Assist with technological needs including computers and printers.Assist faculty with the safe operation of equipment and analyzers using standard operating procedures and safe work practices.Be responsible for waste management of the lab (chemical and biohazardous).You may be asked to support faculty in the lab setting with safety supervision of students as required.
