Job Description

Essential Functions* of the position are detailed below and include any physical requirements checked below:
1. Primarily responsible for handling all client inquiry requests for counseling services for the Loving Outreach to Survivors of Suicide (LOSS) program. Conducti initial assessments of appropriateness for services provided by the program and along with the Department Director makes a timely assignment to a LOSS clinician.
2. Effectively engages children, youth, adults and families experiencing behavioral health issues and psychosocial stressors in the therapeutic process as it relates to the death of a loved one from suicide. Completes mental health assessments as appropriate utilizing a systems framework and trauma informed approach among other modalities.
