Position Overview

The Programme Specialist (Risk & Safeguarding) reports to the Risk Manager (Safeguarding) within the Risk and Safeguarding Unit (RSU). The unit was established to drive an integrated approach to risk management in programming and safeguarding, consolidating safeguards, PSEA, programme implementation risk management and operational continuity. The specialist provides technical support to programme and operations teams in implementing social and environmental safeguards (SES), prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA), partner safeguarding assessments, and risk mitigation measures.
