Altro have the need for a Project Engineer to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract to support with two large ongoing, cross functional projects. The role will require close collaboration with our Technical, Operational Excellence, Manufacturing, Quality, Product Development and site-based teams in both the UK and Germany.

This is a full time, hybrid working role (3 days a week in the office in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire) with substantial travel to our Altro Germany Manufacturing plant in Dessau, Germany.

What will you be doing?

The role will use structured problem solving to assess work completed to date, identify the technical and operational gaps, define a clear route forward, and support the implementation of robust, sustainable solutions into production.

Key responsibilities will include:

Structured problem solving across Dessau and Letchworth.
