**Description**

The Project Engineer serves as a key member of the Network Engineering organization, responsible for leading the planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of infrastructure projects supporting enterprise LAN, WAN, and Firewall environments across the NASA enterprise. This position serves as the primary interface between engineering teams, operations personnel, project managers, vendors, and customer stakeholders to ensure technical initiatives are executed in accordance with project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management objectives.

The successful candidate will apply project management principles and technical expertise to oversee multiple concurrent projects, manage project lifecycles from initiation through closeout, and ensure successful implementation of network modernization, technology refresh, cybersecurity, and infrastructure enhancement initiatives.
