Project Engineering

Purpose: The Lead Project Engineer (LPE) is a project professional responsible for planning, leading, and managing all engineering activities associated with a capital project. LPEs are expected to have greater project leadership skill and experience in capital projects.

Responsibilities Establish effective communications among the engineering and design members of the Integrated Project Team to ensure alignment around business objectives and project objectives. Lead and manage engineering activities associated with a capital project. Provide leadership, guidance, and priority to designers for multiple businesses. Qualifications Overall understanding of the Project Management Process (Front End Loading) from FEL‑1 through checkout and start‑up.
