Job Overview

We are seeking a project manager for a fixed-term contract with the City of Viitasaari to implement the Viitasaari WorKS! project from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2028. The goal of the project is to develop a sustainable model that enhances youth skills recognition, work readiness, and employment in close cooperation with companies, educational institutions, and other networks.

Responsibilities

• Operational management and coordination of the project
• Guidance, engagement, and skills recognition for youth
• Building and coordinating corporate cooperation
• Planning and implementing workshops and development experiments
• Maintaining digital communities (e.g., Discord)
• Monitoring project finances, schedules, and objectives
• Communication and reporting to funders
• Developing and embedding the operational model into the city’s activities
