Overview

The Project Quality/APQP Leader plays a key role within product development teams in an Agile environment, ensuring products are safe, robust, reliable, and fully industrialisable from early design phases through production ramp‑up.

Responsibilities

• Act as a quality reference for industrialisation, safety, reliability, and robustness; influence and mobilise cross‑functional, multicultural teams.
• Support continuous improvement of quality methods, standards and practices.
• Identify and manage industrialisation risks impacting product quality across the supply chain; deploy APQP fundamentals within development projects.
• Own and manage the component risk dashboard.
• Lead PPAP activities with suppliers up to full component qualifications; perform supplier and process audits (VDA 6.3).
