Our client is seeking a Property Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will work with the Director of Finance to manage the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of both residential and commercial properties, including general ledger accounting, preparing budgets, year‑end billings and financial statements, and providing accounting support to internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the annual budget, including lease assumptions, utility/property tax forecasting, and contract schedule updating.
• Collaborate with operations and property administration teams to ensure budgets are completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Enter all budgets into YARDI with proper monthly spreads.
• Perform year‑end CAM (Common Area Maintenance) and Tax recovery calculations, reconciliations and adjustments.
