Developing a thorough understanding of key engine performance elements and customer expectations, including fuel economy, emissions, diagnostics, engine startability, heat rejection, torque and speed, and NVH. Investigating specific engine performance topics using simulations, data analysis, and scope requests. Collaborating with vehicle divisions to improve engine and vehicle integration aspects.
