The Montana Department of Revenue administers approximately 40 state taxes, property appraisals, alcoholic beverage laws, cannabis laws, and unclaimed property for the state of Montana. The Property Assessment Division (PAD) manages Montana’s property assessment and valuation of all taxable property for property tax purposes.
