The Mint is hiring a permanent full time Protective Service Officer who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Protective Services, the Protective Services Officer (PSOs) are the first line of security defense, ensuring the security and safety of the Mint’s staff, assets & facilities.

The Mint is looking to staff pre-qualified candidates to fill future permanent full-time, part-time and Casual Protective Services Officer positions.

Your Responsibilities:

• Proactively protect RCM assets (human life, physical & intellectual property and reputation) from internal and external human threats. The Royal Canadian Mint is part of Canada’s critical infrastructure and identified as a high priority site.
