Responsibilities Serves as a public affairs specialist in the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Public Affairs Office with the responsibility for creating and executing public affairs products. Analyzes and evaluates MSC internal/command information needs and responses to Department of Defense (DoD) and DLA requirements. Recommend actions for information and community relations implications of internally oriented information efforts. Monitors national news coverage of DLA and periodically provides formal report of relevant articles. Executes internal information campaigns and uses initiative to identify opportunities to support team activities and goals. Edits articles and social media posts to ensure consistency with command policy, correctness of grammar and spelling, and readability.
