Summary About the Position: This is a planned management action. Incumbent will serve as a deputy to the Chief of Public Affairs as a Public Affairs specialist within the USACE Wilmington district, Corp of Engineers. Responsibilities Prepare and publish special news announcements via various mediums for District divisions and offices. Oversee preparation of news stories and feature articles. Prepare speeches, talking points and presentations for the District Engineer. Work directly with project managers, subject matter experts and content providers to develop responses to news media and public inquiries. Serve as principal advisor and consultant to the Chief of Public Affairs, the District staff, and all field offices on public affairs matters.
