In this role, you will support our procurement strategy, maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vessels, and ensure the seamless operation of our managed assets.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Support the overall procurement and business strategy set by OSM Thome / Technical Purchasing Management
- Maintain positive relationships between the Technical department, vessels, and Technical Purchasing
- Improve service quality and productivity levels
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers
- Ensure the availability of items for safe operation onboard the company's managed assets
- Develop a mindset focused on achieving the lowest landed cost and practice negotiation skills
- Continuously challenge existing suppliers to generate potential savings.
