:The opportunity:
The Customs and Purchasing Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring efficient and compliant international trade operations at Hitachi, Ltd., managing customs clearance processes, driving effective global sourcing and purchasing strategies, and building strong relationships with suppliers and regulatory authorities to support seamless and high-performing operations.
How you’ll make an impact:
You will manage end-to-end customs clearance for imports and exports, including documentation preparation, regulatory compliance, goods classification (HS codes), and accurate valuation.
You will liaise with customs brokers and authorities while monitoring changes in trade regulations and advising stakeholders on impacts and required actions.
