Purchasing Assistant
1 year maternity cover contract
End of contract bonus

A manufacturing client of ours in the Ipswich area are recruiting a Purchasing Assistant to join their team. This is a 1-year FTC role covering maternity, working Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.00pm and paying a negotiable salary depending on experience. There will be an end-of-contract bonus of £500 and the ideal start date will be June.

Working in a team of 3, key duties include but are not limited to:
Process purchase orders and source raw materials at the best price
Keeping the systems and information up-to-date including the goods in calendar and stock sheets
Source alternative products
Stock counting and monthly stock takes
Record and analyse daily orders for requirements. Check that materials are in stock and if there are any materials/items that need to be bought in
