SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As Purchasing Executive, you will be responsible to manage and execute operational purchasing tasks as delegated by the Purchasing Manager in line with Group Purchasing (GP) policies, principles, guidelines, and procedures for Indirect Materials (IM) in close cooperation with local stakeholders and GP in support of the company’s business targets.

This position is based in Dubai and reports to the Purchasing Manager of Jotun UAE.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and plan the requirement for designated Indirect Materials (IM) categories based on close dialogue with relevant user departments.
• Source, select, and approve suppliers for designated IM categories in close cooperation with relevant user departments (including supplier audits when relevant).
