Position Overview

            Responsibilities Develop strategic plans for the purchasing function 
Contributes to deliver bottom line/top line results, managing own spend/projects according to long term planning and upfront targets defined 
Conducts periodic risk assessment, designing and managing adequate countermeasures for selected spend 
To review with vendors on quality issues and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken by vendors 
Review & plan purchasing order through :Internal : collect related customer inquiries from Sales on specification and lead time 
External : sourcing suppliers, networking, market information and negotiation 
Prepare cost estimates, tender, contracts and price finalizing for project tender submission 
Render support to business leaders for all project procurement matters 
Source for required material and suppliers, either directly or through consultant
