Position Overview

            Job Description Interpret and review technical documents, blueprints, welding procedure specifications (WPS), and project-specific inspection and test plans (ITP). 
Inspect materials and welding consumables to ensure they match specifications and have the required certification and traceability. 
Verify welder qualifications and maintain current records of their certifications and performance. 
Conduct fit‑up inspections, verify joint preparation, and monitor preheating processes to ensure compliance with procedures before welding begins. 
Monitor welding processes to ensure welders adhere to the correct parameters and use the proper techniques and equipment. 
Perform visual inspections and dimensional checks on completed welds to identify defects such as cracks, porosity, or undercut.
