The Quality Engineer is responsible for providing investigation and root cause analysis of product failures. Works closely with various Engineering functions (Reliability, Design, Manufacturing, etc) in a closed-loop, corrective‑action process to improve product quality and reliability performance.
Responsibilities - Work with cross‑functional groups to coordinate strategies for meeting customer's requirements in all quality areas that serve business needs.
- Perform Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, corrective and preventive actions due to customer (internal‑external) complaints.
- Define, design, develop and implement SPC tools for assembly tools, manufacturing, and test fixtures.
- Establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system.
- Interact with Engineering and Operations to ensure appropriate transfer of new products (PPAP).
