Summary You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (PROJECTS) in the Welding Engineering Division (Code 138) within the Quality Assurance Office (Code 130), of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will Develop procedures, instructions and technical requirements and certification of employees, for processes involving the performance of all NDT processes. You will establish requirements for the technical evaluation of NDT to assure continuing compliance to NAVSEA instructions. You will Interpret source documents to include NAVSEA manuals, military specifications, industry standards, etc. You will review and evaluate new technology and innovations for implementation and incorporation into the NNSY NDT program as necessary.
