Purpose

The HVA department, located in Cortaillod (Switzerland), provides accessories for extra high voltage applications for internal and external customers around the world. It is part of the Power & Transmission (Pwr-T) Business Group, present on 3 continents, especially in France, Norway, and Belgium.

The Quality Engineer is responsible for coordinating and ensuring quality and environmental compliance within the department. The role focuses on maintaining the highest standards of quality across all processes, products, and services, meeting customer expectations, industry standards, and internal requirements. The engineer also supports the alignment of the department’s quality system with site and Pwr-T business group standards, and consolidates and reports safety indicators, ensuring safety remains a core Nexans priority.
