Quality Engineer (Contract) - Defence/Aerospace | In‑Service Support (Fast Jet & Complex Platforms)

A leading UK defence/aerospace organisation is seeking an enthusiastic Quality Engineer contractor to support a range of projects within a Customer Support & Service Solutions environment, covering fast jet and other in‑service platforms. You'll work at Integrated Project Team (IPT) level, collaborating closely with Operations to deliver effective Quality Assurance across returns and repair activity.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Principal Quality Engineer and Quality Manager to meet/exceed quality objectives
Act as the Quality focal point for in‑service and returns material activities
Investigate and resolve non‑conformances (root cause analysis and corrective actions)
Review/approve quality documentation for returns, concessions and repairs
Ensure traceability and configuration control of returned/unserviceable items
