POSITION SUMMARY

Timber Products is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead and manage the quality assurance program for Medford Plywood. Ensures standardization of process/quality control platforms and quality performance metrics. Responsible for the development of continuous improvement systems in safety, quality, yield, value, cost and productivity performance. Achieves results by working closely with Timber Products Technical Director, manufacturing and sales staff, as well as customers and vendors.



MAJOR TASKS


+ Develops the plant quality team in conjunction with plant management.

+ Complies with all safety requirements as well as acts as an example of safe practices on a consistent basis.

+ Determines departmental project plans and implementation schedules. Manages the progress of projects to ensure implementation deadlines are met.
