A reputable quant investment firm is looking to hire a newly created headcount that will be their first legal counsel for the APAC region.
The role will have coverage across Hong Kong and Singapore and potentially other locations within the APAC region.
Responsibilities - Sole legal counsel within the APAC region. Work closely with the General Counsel to build the legal function up as part of the ongoing APAC expansion.
- Provide legal advice on governance and ongoing operations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including ISDAs, prime brokerage, trading agreements, NDAs, and vendor/service provider agreements.
- Advice on corporate matters including entity formation, board documentation, shareholder agreements, and employment law issues.
