Quantity Surveyor (QS) Job Description:
Experience in pre & post contract administration. Prepare tender cost submission /measurement / quantity take off / cost evaluation. Be responsible for sourcing subcontractors and suppliers. Evaluate price comparison and costing summary. Responsible for claims, variation orders, budget & cost control. Prepare settlement of the final account. Handle issues including the extension of time, terms and conditions, loss and expenses claim. Maintenance of project documentation. Ad-hoc duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building or Diploma or Nitec (Building/QS) or equivalent. Minimum 3-4 years of relevant working experience in a construction firm preferred. Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Have good knowledge of market updates and construction cost trends.
