This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic Radiology team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, supporting the department to achieve, maintain and continuously improve compliance with radiation protection regulations (including Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2017 and Ionising Radiation Regulations 2017).

The post-holder should be looking to work in wide multidisciplinary team environment in a role that champions learning and continuous improvement to promote patient and staff safety. They should demonstrate sound knowledge of radiation protection legislation and its practical implications in Radiology and identify where changes are required to meet evolving needs of a modern service.

As well as subject matter expertise, the post-holder will have supervisory management responsibilities and demonstrate leadership skills to engage with and promote compliance across teams.
