The Radiologic Technologist II is responsible for performing radiographic procedures by the application of ionizing radiation to produce radiographic images under a variety of conditions and assisting physicians as required in the selection of practical applications and technical factors.

Obtain a complete history on patients including obtaining previous related exams that will help evaluate the current exam. Produce quality radiographs. Select proper technical factors for each individual patient, according to established protocols. Provide proper shielding in accordance with prescribed radiation safety standards.
