This position involves competently performing routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. The goal is to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. The role requires working independently, exercising sound judgment, and utilizing developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures, delivering accurate results in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures is essential to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Responsibilities may also include performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department.
