Job responsibilities
This is a dynamic, hands‑on leadership position, combining clinical expertise with operational oversight. You will spend approximately 60% of your time delivering high‑quality patient care across modalities, with the remaining time focused on leading your team, improving services, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
- Support the overall management and performance of the imaging department across all modalities.
- Deputise for the Imaging Manager, taking responsibility for operational delivery when required.
- Lead, manage, and develop radiographers and support staff.
- Monitor performance, address issues, and support a consistent, high‑quality service.
- Oversee compliance, governance, audit, and quality assurance processes.
- Contribute to service planning, workforce management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
