As a Ranger, you’re a champion of nature conservation and the great outdoors, and you’ll play a crucial role in keeping the nation’s beloved countryside and coast in good shape, for wildlife and for people. Salary: £27,612 per annum

Contract Duration: Permanent 

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Working Pattern: You will work Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm. You will also be expected to work approximately 10 weekend and Bank Holiday days during the busy Summer months

What it's like to work here

As an Ullswater/Grasmere Ranger, you will be part of a team of three working predominantly across these areas, but you will regularly be asked to work on the wider portfolio including Windermere, Langdales and Coniston. You w...
