The R&D Control Systems Engineer will support the overall design and development of new Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine power plants. The power plants are configured as simple cycle or combined cycle with an output range of 200 MW to 1000 MW or more.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**

+ Join a team of controls engineers specialized in developing reference plant designs for large rotating gas and steam turbines.
+ Collaborate with other teams to develop control system solutions needed for safe reliable operation of the units.
+ Prepare specifications for control system components including hardware cabinet design, instrumentation, and turbine protection systems.
+ Extract functional requirements from P+IDs, system descriptions and other power plant documents to develop control system logic.
+ Validate new control solutions and components in lab environment using process simulation.
