A. PRIMARY PURPOSE (WHY DOES THIS JOB EXISTS)
The R&D team is responsible for reviewing the latest regulations from the IMO (International Maritime Organization) and marine classification societies, ensuring that our marine fire extinguishing systems meet the required standards. This includes reviewing regulations and assessing their impact on our systems and markets, planning and executing tests, preparing documentation to verify compliance when needed, and conducting product tests when necessary in collaboration with external research institutions. This role supports the company’s ability to respond effectively to regulatory changes and maintain product reliability and compliance in the marine safety industry.
