Job Description

We are searching for an R&D Manager (Rubber Business) to oversee product lines and marketing strategies, define product development roadmaps, manage P&L, and ensure profitability across China and India. The role reports to the Rubber Product Line Manager and is based in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Barcelona.

A day in the life of a R&D Manager

• Define and execute the mid‑ and long‑term Global R&D strategy aligned with corporate and commercial objectives.
• Lead and develop the R&D team (product engineering, materials, laboratory and testing).
• Drive new product development and continuous improvement of rubber power transmission belts worldwide.
• Research, develop and validate rubber compounds, reinforcements and surface treatments.
• Improve product performance (durability, energy efficiency, noise, vibration, thermal and chemical resistance).
