We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Access Specialist in Lewiston, Maine. This role is in the healthcare industry where you will be interacting with customers and patients, managing their accounts, and handling their inquiries.


Job Responsibilities:

· Handled front desk duties checking in and outpatients.

· Insurance verification, flags, voicemails and other duties as assigned


Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED

• Open to different backgrounds in customer service, hospitality, and service industry

• Medical Experience background in Patient Services

• Basic or advanced knowledge of the EPIC electronic medical record system or other EMR's is a Preferred

• Basic or advanced knowledge of medical data reporting systems

• Microsoft Excel/Word knowledge
