Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation Area Shaw AFB, SC. Responsibilities Performs maintenance and repair of electrical and gasoline powered gardening equipment and travel trailers. Performs routine periodic maintenance and makes mechanical or electrical repairs of two and four-cycle gasoline powered engines i.e., log-splitter, roto-tillers, chain saws, aerators, lawn mowers, boats, etc. As required, replaces internal engine components, i.e., rings, pistons, valves, gaskets, rods, bearings, etc. according to manufacturer's specifications when required. In a timely manner prepares power equipment for seasonal storage. Cleans equipment, changes oil and drains gas from system. Changes oil, spark plugs, filters, belts as required.
