Your Opportunity:

The Rockyview General Hospital (RGH) is a metropolitan hospital with over 650 inpatient beds. The RGH Recreational Therapist I (RecT) works primarily with Alternate Level of Care (ALC) patients who reside mostly on our Transition units but may also be on other RGH teams/units. The caseload for all positions may be subject to change based on operational considerations and/or needs. The RecT I role involves assessing, treating & discharging patients from the RecT caseload based on their therapeutic needs. Your assessment & critical thinking skills will be necessary to guide your work, to prioritize your patient interventions and to assign tasks to Therapy Assistants. Your proven skills in time management, taking initiative & problem-solving, will be an asset to this position as you will be working under minimal supervision.
