Referral & Authorization Coordinator (Bilingual – English/Spanish)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Referral & Authorization Coordinator to manage authorizations and referrals across multiple insurance plans. This role ensures timely care coordination, accurate documentation, and excellent patient communication.
Key Responsibilities

+ Process and track authorization requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness

+ Secure approvals from insurance providers via phone, email, or fax

+ Coordinate specialty appointments, diagnostics, DME, and other services

+ Follow up on outstanding documentation to prevent delays in care

+ Communicate authorization status and resolve patient inquiries

+ Maintain referral records, verify appointment completion, and obtain clinical documentation

+ Use multiple systems to schedule, track, and manage referrals

+ Meet deadlines and maintain professional, patient-focused communication
