About the Role
The Strategic Account Analyst plays a key role in supporting commercial success across Elsevier’s Academic & Government customer portfolio. Working closely with Account Managers, this position leverages research intelligence, analytics, and customer insights to drive retention, identify growth opportunities, and demonstrate the value of Elsevier’s solutions to universities, research institutions, and government agencies.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Support for Account Managers (Academic & Government)
- Customer ROI Analysis: develop and maintain impact reports (using Scopus and SciVal data) to demonstrate the value of Elsevier’s portfolio to key government agencies and top-tier universities.
- Whitespace Identification: conduct gap analyses to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts, particularly for emerging AI‑driven tools and Open Access transitions.
